MRS. FRANK HOLZMAN SETTLED IN STANTON TOWNSHIP IN THE EIGHTIES

Death claimed Mrs. Catherine Holzman at a local hospital Sunday morning, where she had been for treatment for some time, at the age of 66 years. She was the wife of Frank Holzman, residing at 45 Sixth Avenue, SE. They were residents of Stanton Township for many years, coming to Le Mars on retiring from farm life a few years ago.

Mrs. Holzman was born in Austria, April 14, 1861, her maiden name being Catherine Ruba, and came with relatives to Plymouth County forty-five years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Holzman were the parents of five children, Barbara, Kate, Lena, Annie, and Frank.

The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at St.
Note: She was probably buried in the St. Joseph's (now Calvary) Cemetery next to her husband.

Mrs. Holzman was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and its societies and was widely known in a large circle of acquaintances. She was esteemed and respected by all who knew her.
