J. CLARK TINDALL
James (J.) Clark Tindall, 72, rural LeMars, died unexpectedly Thursday (Nov. 30, 1978) at his home after an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Tindall had also suffered a heart attack in 1962.
He was born June 11, 1906, in Plymouth county to John "Jack" and Amy Brown Tindall. He resided in the county his entire life and was a farmer and cattle feeder.
His marriage to Cleo Gabel took place Feb. 15, 1928, at Adaville. he was a member of the Adaville United Methodist church, the Farm Bureau, Farmer's Co-op and was a former trustee at Westmar College.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Adaville United Methodist church wil Rev. J. Milton Kinney, officiating. Burial will be in Adaville Pleasant View cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home, LeMars.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Cleo Tindall, LeMars; a son, Rollin of Akron and four granchildren; his stepmother, Mrs. Jack Tindall, LeMars; three brothers, Richard of Hemet, Calif.k Robert of Punta Gorda, Fla; and Stanley of LeMars; three sisters, Mrs. Warford (Florence) Johnson of Springfield, Mo.; Mrs. Ralph (Mildred) Hunter, LeMars, and Mrs. Lindsey (Mary)White, Santa Clara, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a son, Corbin, in 1969.
