~NOTE: Feb. 7th was on a Wednesday in the years 1917 and also again in 1923. In 1923 this young man would have been 13 years old--possibly his classmates could have acted as pallbearers at that age.

WILLIE SWANSON

A large crowd from this vicinity attended the funeral services Wednesday, February 7th, for Willie SWANSON at the Gust SWANSON home. The body was laid to rest in the Liberty township cemetery. Some of his young friends and school mates acted as pall bearers.

~This birth is likely the young Willie mentioned in this obituary. His parents Gust and Emma Swanson are buried with markers in the Liberty Twp Cemetery, Plymouth Co., Iowa.
