Harry KOVARNA, 69, a long time Perry township resident, died Monday afternoon at a Sioux City hospital, following a lingering illness.

Mr. KOVARNA was born June 27, 1902, in Sioux City. He married the former Louise ANDERSON, Nov. 29, 1932, at Omaha. The couple farmed in the Plymouth county area near HInton for many years.

Survivors include the widow, three brothers, Adolph, James, and George, and a sister, Mrs. John HARTMAN of Sioux City.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Heaton Westcott Funeral home in Sioux City. Rev. Walden PAIGE, pastor of the Hinton United Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in the Liberty Township cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tom FLANNERY, Darwin HARTMAN, Lester and Richard KOVARNA. April 1972
