Services for John KOVARNA

Funeral services for John KOVARNA, 83, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 15, at Heaton - Westscott Funeral home in Sioux City, Rev. R. E. OUTHUESDEN officiated. Burial was in Liberty township cemetery. He died Nov. 12 at a Sioux City nursing home.

He was born Jan. 22, 1888, in Plymouth county and was a life long resident and farmer of the county. He married Olive MAXEY, April 10, 1912, in Sioux City.

Survivors are the wife, three daughters, Mrs. Carl ( Ella ) FRERICHS of Allen , Neb., Mrs. Cecil ( Doris ) STIZMANN of Kingsley and Mrs. Clarence ( Donna ) MILLER of Sioux City; three sons, Lester, Charles and Howard; four brothers, James, George, Adolph and ?arry, a sister, Mrs. John HARTMAN of Sioux City, 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
