Margaret M. BERGER

Margaret M. BERGER, 84, 1301 Villa Ave., retired nurse's aid, died Friday, Jan. 29, 1988, in a Sioux City hospital after a long illiness.

Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, in Christy Westside Funeral home with the Rev. Larry WIMMER of Whitfield United Methodist church officiating. Burial was in Liberty township cenetery.

Mrs. Berger, the former Margaret BEAULIEU, was born Aug. 24, 1903, in Springfield, Ill. She married George BERGER in 1922 in Sioux City. The couple farmed in Plymouth county prior to moving to Sioux City. She was a nurse's aid at the former St. Joseph's hospital and then worked for Younkers department store, retiring 26 years ago.

Mrs. BERGER was a member of Whitfield United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth CHAUSSEE of Sioux City; three brothers, Edwin and Tom, both of Plymouth county and Lloyd of Minnesota; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
