Note: His mother's maiden name was Rembe.
Note: His proper name is Charles but he was called Carl. He is referred to as Charles in other family obituaries. His father's name was Charles, so he may have been named after him.

Carl V. Albright Answers Call

County Road Patrolman

C. V. Albright, 52, of Craig, a county employee and road patrolman, died Monday morning, in the Methodist hospital in Sioux City following an operation. Mr. Albright was taken sick a week ago.

Carl Valentine Albright was born near Ellendale, this county, January 1, 1891, and lived here all his life. He was married to Tina Cramer, October 15, 1919, in the Grant township Lutheran church.

He is survived by his wife, his son, Hilbert, and three brothers, George of Le Mars, Harry of Hawarden and Lewis Albright of Merrill.

His son, Donald, died at the age of 10 years in 1933.

Mr. Albright was a member of the Lutheran church. He was a good citizen and popular with his associates.

Final arrangements for the funeral were not completed last evening.

Services will be held in St. John's church in Craig, Rev. F. H. Voelker officiating, and interment will be made in Grant township cemetery.

Mauer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
