OLD RESIDENT DIES

John E. Frerichs Had Been Sick for Past Two Years

The death of John E. Frerichs, of Grant township, occurred at his home on Monday night after a two eyars illness caused by cerebral trouble. Mr. Frerichs was a well knon resident of Plymouth county, having lived here since 1883. He was a native of Germany, where he was born forty-seven years ago in 1864. When a youth his parents came to America and settled in Illinois near Sterling, from which place they came to Le Mars. He was united in marriage with Mary Pageler in 1891 in this county.

She with three children, two girls and a boy, survive him. The deceased was a son Mr. and Mrs Ulrich Frerichs, of Grant township, and also leaves three brothers and two sisters to mourn his death. They all reside in Plymouth couny except martin Frerichs who lives near Enid, Okla.

John Frerichs was a highly respected citizen, held in great esteem in the community where he lived so long. He was a good father and husband, neighbor and friend and many friends mourn his death in the prime of life.

The funeral will be held this Friday at the Grant township Lutheran church.
