OSCAR W. CROUCH
Oscar W. Crouch, 98, 1701 W. 25th St, died Saturday morning in a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Crouch was born May 1, 1877, in Plymouth County, Iowa. He married Genevive Hurt June 22, 1901, in Plymouth County. Mrs. Crouch died Nov. 15, 1964, in Sioux City. Mr. Crouch farmed in Plymouth County before moving to Sioux City in 1946. He was a member of the Crescent Park United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Albert Sevanson of Minneapolis and Mrs. Leo Graham of Sioux City; a son, Lloyd, of Westfield; five sisters, Mrs. Claudia Hauff of Moville, Mrs. Cora Douglas of Sanborn, Mrs. Mabel VanDyke of Sioux City, Mrs. Frankie Lemon of Van Nuys, California, and Mrs. Esther Pew of LeMars; seven grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Crescent Park United Methodist Church. The Rev. David R. Wendel will officiate. Burial will be in the Adaville Cemetery in Plymouth County with the Heaton-Westcott Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Elliott, Tom Flannery, Ervin Vehe, Lester Williams, Oral Bonnes and Hans Petersen.

A memorial in Mr. Crouchs’ name has been established for the American Cancer Society.
