Life's End
JOHN M. KUNATH, 69, DIES UNEXPECTEDLY AT HIS HOME TODAYJohn Moritz Kunath, 69, 215 8th St. SW, retired Plymouth county farmer, died unexpectedly at his home this morning. He had suffered ailing health for several years.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mauer's funeral home. Rev. Fritz Springis of the Seney Methodist church will officiate. Interment will be in the city cemetery.
Mr. Kunath was born Dec. 22, 1891, in Mills county, Iowa. He had resided in Plymouth county since 1917. He married Josie Osborne at the home of her parents near Seney, Jan. 14, 1925. The couple retired from farming and moved to LeMars 3 1/2 years ago.
He was a veteran of world war 1 and a member of the Seney Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife, Josie of LeMars; one son, Lyle of Canton, S. D.; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Goodvin of Corning and Mrs. Emma Mounsey of Sioux City; a niece and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Speck Kunath, and two brothers, Charles and Frank Kunath.
