Mrs. Ahrendt, the aged mother of Fred and Chas. Ahrendt. died at the home of Chas. Ahrendt on Saturday. The funeral was held yesterday at the Grant township church, Mrs. Ahrendt was an aunt of Mrs. Nic Ries, of this city and of Mrs. John Kloths. Mr. and Mrs. Ries went out to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Ahrendt died at the home of her son Chas. Ahrendt in Grant township on Saturday morning, October 29, and was buried on Monday at the German Lutheran church, Rev. J. D. Meyer conducted the services.
