Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. (today), January 7 for William Barinsky, age 81 of Le Mars at St. John Evangelical Lutheran. Church, rural Akron, Rev. James Sandvik officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Barinsky died in a Le Mars hospital January 3 after a, 3 months illness. He was born June.9, 1889, Johnson Township, in Plymouth County. On February 21, 1917 he married Anna Hillrichs, she died in 1968. Mr. Barinsky was a life long Plymouth County resident and a retired farmer.

He is survived by: daughters, Mrs. Loren (Gladys) Eden, Mrs. Wayne (Lorraine) Hamilton, both of Alcester, SD., Mrs. Linnis (Eileen) Onken of Sioux City; sons, Raymond of Le Mars, Lowell of Akron; sisters, Mrs. Clara Meyers of Colome, SD, Mrs. Ben Borchers of Le Mars Mrs. Ella Witt of Oakville, Wash.;brother, John of Hawarden; 14 grandchildren.
