Note: The paper says she's the former Elizabeth Braun but I believe this to be an error and since her parents last name is Henrich it is believed that is her maiden name.
Mrs. William Braun
Mrs. William (Elizabeth) Braun, Le Mars, deputy treasurer of Plymouth County, died Sunday (Dec. 23, 1979) at Floyd Valley Hospital, Le Mars, of a long illness.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. George McFadden officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Le Mars.
Mrs. Braun, the former Elizabeth Jean Braun, was born March 17,1937 in Le Mars to Paul and Ella Lang Henrich. She was a lifelong Le Mars resident and a graduate of Le Mars high school. She had been employed at the Plymouth County Treasurer's Office for 22 years. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and Le Mars T.G.A. Club. She married William Braun June 15, 1957 in Le Mars.
Survivors are her husband, William, Le Mars; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Henrich, Le Mars; two brothers, James and Thomas, both of Le Mars, and a sister Linda Henrich, Le Mars and by three nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister Mary Ellen.
