LeMars, Iowa --
Charles Brodie, 93, of LeMars, died Friday in a hospital at LeMars.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Mauer Funeral Home. The Rev.
Ralph Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Plymouth Presbyterian
Cemetery, rural LeMars.

Mr. Brodie was born May 25, 1886, in Plymouth county. He married Eva King
Sept. 2, 1914, at Sioux City. He was a retired farmer and had been a
lifelong resident. Mrs. Brodie died in 1972.

Survivors include one son, Gordon of LeMars; one daughter, Mrs. Bernard
(Margaret) Willis of Lake City, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and 10
great-grandchildren.
