Harry Leonard Willer, 69, rural Akron, died unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 1, at his residence.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5 at the Wesley United Methodist church in Akron. The Rev. Donald Greenough officiated. Congregational hymns were "How Great Thou Art", and "He Leadeth Me". Organist was Jayson Dobney. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery under direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron.

Pallbearers were Ed Searls, Grayling Wilier, Virgil Gabel, Jay Willer, Randy Hillrichs, Mike Hueser, Cecil Horton and Bob Utesch.

Mr. Willer was born Jan. 25, 1923, at Akron, Iowa, the son of H.P. and Ruth E. (Huff) Willer. He married Lois Adams Nov. 8, 1953 at Akron. He farmed in the Akron area his entire life, retiring in 1978.

He is survived by his wife, Lois of Akron; three daughters, Mrs. Kevin (LaVonne) Byers of Kingsley, Mrs. Grady (Beth) Hansen and Mrs. Greg (Laura) Anderson, both of Omaha, Neb.; eight grandchildren; one brother, Lloyd of rural Akron; and one sister, Mrs. Vernon (Edna) Hueser of Knoxville, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Mrs. Albert (Alma) Buys.
