Cecelia Mae Hoffman Hunnel

Cecelia Mae Hoffman Hunnel, 93, an Akron native, died Saturday, Feb. 29, 1992, at St. Mary's hospital in Apple Valley.

Graveside services will be held later at Riverside cemetery in Akron.

Mrs. Hunnel, the former Cecelia Mae Hoffman, was born Jan. 20, 1899, in the Akron area to Charles and Ruth (Harkness) Hoffman. She married William Martin Hunnel in 1926 at Akron. They farmed in the area until moving to California in the 1940s. Mr. Hunnel died in 1966.

Survivors include four children, Harley Hunnel of Garden Grove, Calif., Keith Hunnel of Sun City, Calif., and Cecelia Conley of Apple Valley, and Violet Hughes of Tucson; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and eight brothers and sisters.
