George Warnsing
George Leroy Warnsing, 63, of Akron
was found dead Wednesday (June 27,
1979) at his home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran
church in Akron. Rev. David Roy will
officiate. Burial will be in Riverside
cemetery with the Schroeder funeral
home of Akron in charge.
Graveside military rites will be
conducted by the Hoschler Post 434,
American Legion of Akron, and the
Veterans of Foreign Wars post 915 of
Elk Point, S.D.
Mr. Warnsing was born March 29,
1916, at Hildrith, Neb. He was
employed as a farmer and laborer in
the Akron area. Mr. Warnsing was a
World War 2 army veteran, having
served in Germany and France.
He married Clara Toben July 9,1949,
at Elk Point. Mrs. Warnsing died in
1965.
Survivors are three sisters, Mrs.
Clara Robertson of El Cojan, Calif.,
Mrs. Pearl Godden of San Diego, Calif.,
and Mrs. Donna Hollamon of Lincoln,
Neb.; and one brother, Walter of
San Diego.
