INFANT DIES

Earl John, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lemke, of Sioux City, failed to survive its birth and died Saturday in St. Joseph’s hospital in Sioux City. It was born the same day and lived only a few minutes after birth.

The baby is survived by his parents and two sisters, Dona and Beverly; and two grandmothers, Mrs. Helen Lemke of LeMars and Mrs. Fedia Harrison, Sioux City.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from Luken’s funeral home with Rev. Waldron of Sioux City officiating. Burial was made in the Merrill cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Lemke are former LeMars residents and moved to Sioux City several years ago.
