CHARLES H. ROLLINGER
LE MARS, Iowa—Charles H. Rollinger, 45, of LeMars, died Thursday of injuries suffered in a two-vehicle accident south of Orange City.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. John American Lutheran Church in LeMars. The Rev. Tom Lee will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.
Mr. Rollinger was born May 12, 1940, in LeMars. He graduated from LeMars High School in 1958 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 until 1962. He married Linda Mohning Sept. 11, 1966, in LeMars. He was a meat inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Mr. Rollinger was a member of St. John American Lutheran Church. He served on the LeMars Park Board for 10 years and was Past Exalted Ruler and current Senior Trustee of the BPO Elks 428 of LeMars.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kristin and Kathrine, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rollinger of LeMars; three brothers, David, of Luverne, Minn., Michael of Litchfield, Minn., and Tim of Brunsville; and his paternal grandmother, Anna Rollinger, of Moline, Ill.
