SURVIVORS: …include two brothers, Alfred “Al” Knecht of Sioux City and James and his wife, Alma, Knecht of Akron; a sister, Velma Port of Akron; a sister-in-law, Ardie Knecht of Vermillion, S.D.; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Becky Kirkendall of Akron.
