Glenn M. Nussbaum, 67, of Le Mars died Sunday (March 10, 1985) at Marian Health Center, Sioux City. He was hospitalized for two days.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. John’s American Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Rev. David Kramer will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.
Mr. Nussbaum was born Aug. 2, 1917, in Le Mars to George and Amelia Behnke Nussbaum. He attended Le Mars Public School and Western Union College in Le Mars. He served with the U.S. Army in Germany and England during World War II. He married Anna Baack June 11, 1965, in Le Mars. In 1982, he retired after working 15 years at Carlson Machine Co., in Sioux City.
Mr. Nussbaum was a member of St. John’s American Lutheran Church and Wasmer Post 241, American Legion.
Survivors are his wife; four stepsons, Edwin Baack of Salt Lake City, Utah, Melvin Baack of Le Mars, Gary Baack of Cabot, Vt. and Roland Baack of Canton, Mich.; one brother Conrad of Le Mars and 10 stepgrandchildren
