William R. Shuenk, 68, of Los Angeles and formerly of Le Mars, died Monday (July 27, 1987) at his home.

Funeral was at 9 a.m. Monday (Aug. 3, 1987) at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. Rev. Robert Grupp, pastor of Presbyterian United Church of Christ officiated. Burial was in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Shuenk was born Nov. 26, 1918, at Le Mars to William H. and Georgina Nicholson Shuenk. He graduated from Le Mars High School and moved to California in 1936. He was employed by the Canadian Insurance Company in California for 45 years.

Survivors include many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
