OCCUPATION: During World War II, he served with the U.S. Army in New Guinea and the Philippine Islands. Following the war, he was employed with Wind King of Merrill and later with the U.S. Postal Service in LeMars. After marriage the couple made their home in LeMars where he continued his employment with the post office as a rural mail carrier for many years.
SURVIVORS: … include his wife; a sister, Marie Britt and her husband, Vernon of LeMars; a brother, Vincent Roeser and his wife, Joyce of LeMars; and a sister-in-law, Helen Susemihl of LeMars.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …his parents; two brothers-in-law, Marvin Susemihl and Lee Van Asma and sister-in-law, Jennie Hoffman.
