HENRY SCHOENROCK

Funeral services for Henry Schoenrock, 85, who died Wednesday in a hospital here after a short illness were at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Grace Lutheran Church, LeMars. Rev. Meyer officiated. Burial was in the LeMars city cemetery.

Mr. Schoenrock was born March 21, 1873, in Benton County, O. He came to Plymouth County with his parents in 1877 where he engaged in farming for 49 years. From Plymouth County he moved to Leeds where he remained for two and a half years. He spent the last seven years of his life in retirement at LeMars.

Mr. Schoenrock married Dorothea Ideker June 11, 1900, at Craig, Mo. His father Gustav Schoenrock was well-known in Plymouth County.

Survivors include a son, Earl, Merrill, Ia.; two daughters, Miss Mabel Schoenrock of LeMars, and Mrs. Ella Stowater of Marcus, Ia.; a brother, Charles, of LeMars; a sister, Mrs. Martha Ideker of Sioux City; five grandchildren; and a great grandson. His wife died in October 1958.
