ANNA M. OLTMANNS

LE MARS, Iowa—Anna M. Oltmanns, 91, of LeMars, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 1995, at Plymouth Manor Care Center in LeMars.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Craig with the Rev. Kathleen Kinney officiating. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Oltmanns was born Dec. 3, 1903, in Grant Township, rural Plymouth County, the daughter of Henry and Antke (Rolapp) Ommen. She grew up and attended country school in Grant Township. She married Henry Oltmanns Feb. 26, 1925. The couple farmed west of Craig for many years. He died Dec. 23, 1970, and she later moved to LeMars. She had been a resident of the care center for the last 12 ˝ years.

Mrs. Oltmanns was a member of St. John Evangelical Church in Craig where she had been active in the Ladies Aid.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Larry and LaDonna Oltmanns of Craig; two daughters, Marlene and Her husband, Ron Hanstein of rural LeMars and Karen Schoenrock of Hinton; a sister, Lena Foxen, of Anaheim, Calif.; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joan in infancy; four brothers and four sisters.

Pallbearers will be Terry and Chad Oltmanns, Scott Koopman, Kent Hanstein, Darvin Johnson and Justin and Jason Schoenrock.
