Alma M. Mllbrodt, 91, of Akron, died Monday, October 9, 1995 at the Akron Convalescent Care Center, Akron, after a brief illness.

Services will be held Thursday, October 12. 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron with the Rev. Allen Bidne officiating. Visitation will be at Schroeder Funeral Home, Akron, Wednesday. Oct. 11, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. Music will be "Amazing Grace," "How Great Thou Art," and "The Lord's Prayer" sung by Bob Brown, accompanied by Marietta Nielsen on the organ. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Akron.

Casket bearers will be Mike Milbrodt, Kenneth Milbrodt, Arlin Milbrodt, Lance Bos. Darwin Johnson. Wayne Von Hagel, Cliff Miller, and Douglas Carlson.

Mrs. Milbrodt was born August 13, 1904 in Preston Township, rural Akron to Bart and Clara (Kallsen) Miller. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church, Preston Township. She married John L. Milbrodt on November 8, 1922 at Coleridge, Nebraska. He passed away October 6, 1965. Mrs. Milbrodt worked for the Schroeder Funeral Home for many years. Mrs. Milbrodt was a member of, Trinity Lutheran Church, Martha,,Circle and a 50 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Akron.

Survivors include three sons and their wives Donald and Vivian Milbrodt, Seattle, Washington, Glen and Deloris Milbrodt, Akron and Wayne and Marilyn Milbrodt. Sioux City; one daughter, Arlene Johnson of Sioux City: 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; two sisters,, Christine Ryan and Mildred Johnson both of Akron.

She was preceded In death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Emma Johnson; one brother, Leonard Miller; one son-in-law Bud Johnson; and one grandson, Douglas Johnson.
