PARENTS: daughter of Mathew and Agnes (Yingling) Miller
SPOUSE & DATE of MARRIAGE: Leonard Johnson, Oct. 24, 1923
PLACE OF MARRIAGE: at Eagle Grove
OCCUPATION: She moved to Fremont, Neb., as a young woman with her family. She and her husband had been long time Eagle Grove residents. Mr. Johnson’s job with the railroad took them to many areas of the country and she worked in various retail stores. They moved to LeMars in 1989. Mr. Johnson died April 6, 1990. She was active in St. Anthony’s Hospital Auxiliary in Carroll, where she managed the hospital gift shop for many years.
SURVIVORS: include a daughter and her husband, Donna and Jack Hentges of LeMars; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: a son, Leonard; a sister and a twin brother.
