Obituary Milton Herman
Milton Edward Herman, 44 lifelong Merrill and vicinity resident, died Thursday at Veterans hospital, Omaha, after a six month illness.
He was a truck operator at Merrill and had been at the hospital for five weeks.
Mr. Herman was born March 17, 1924, in Plymouth County, rural Merrill. His marriage to Elizabeth Molenaar took place Sept. 23, 1953, at Rock Rapids. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Herman, Merrill.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mauer funeral home, LeMars, with Rev. D. J. Garrington officiating. Burial will be in Merrill Hillside cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home.
Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth, Merrill; two sons, Charles and Timothy, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Herman, Merrill; five brothers, Gerald, Nodaway, Iowa; Willard, LeMars; Duane, Aurora, Colo.; Milford, Bellflower, Calif., and Donald, Merrill; five sisters, Mrs. Harry (Eva) Varenhorst and Gladys Mroczkowski, both of Merrill; Mrs. Virgil (Marjorie) Willer, Akron; Mrs. Donald (Deloris) Bohlken, LeMars, and Mrs. Verlin (Shirley) Baker, Pierre, S. D.
He was a veteran of world war 2.
