Mrs.Leslie Lorensen

Mrs. Leslie (Dorothea) Lorensen, 56, lifetime Akron area resident, died Tuesday at Floyd Valley hospital after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louie Taylor, Akron.

She was born May 13, 1912, Westfield township and she taught school for several years. Her marriage to Leslie Lorensen took place Nov. 16, 1940, in Akron.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Plymouth Presbyterian church, rural Akron. Rev. Charles Kruse will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the Schroeder funeral home. A prayer service at the funeral home is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Survivors are her husband; two sons, Dennis, Nashville, Tenn. and Larry of Akron; a granddaughter; three brothers, Lowell Taylor, Oskaloosa; Harvey and Darrell Taylor, both of Akron and a sister, Mrs. Neil Robertson, Miller, S. D.
