H. PORSCH FORMER COUNTY RESIDENT DIES

Henry Porsch, 83, of Sioux City, died Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ben Harrison, near Lawton.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Sioux City First Assembly of God church. The Rev. A. M. Alber officiated at the services. Burial was in the Stanton township cemetery in Plymouth county.

Mr. Porsch was born December 5, 1867, Springfield, Ill. He moved with his parents to Plymouth county when he was a child.

He married Ranah Higday on July 31, 1890, at LeMars. He farmed in Plymouth county until he moved to Sioux City in 1913.

Surviving are the widow; three sons, Lloyd and Arthur, both of Sioux City, and Leslie of Kingsley; three daughters, Mrs. John Daniel of Kingsley, Mrs. E. W. Morrow of Lawton and Mrs. Harrison; a sister, Mrs. Rose Scaife of Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
