Life's End
MRS. FRANK TULLIS, 78, SUCCUMBS AT HOSPITAL;
SERVICES ARE MONDAYFuneral services for Mrs. Frank B. Tullis, 78, were at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Merrill Methodist church.
Rev. D. J. Garrington officiated and burial was in the Merrill Hillside cemetery.
A prayer service was conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Mauer funeral home.
Mrs. Tullis died Saturday at a LeMars hospital following a one-year illness.
Rose Christina Anderson was born on July 4, 1889, at Sioux City. She came to Plymouth county as a child and had lived here since.
She was married to Mr. Tullis on Dec. 27, 1909, at LeMars.
Survivors are her husband; two sons, Loren (sic--Lauren) at home and Willis of Merrill; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Keenan of LeMars; a sister, Mrs. Paul Cummihow of LeMars; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. John Francis Tullis of LeMars; 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Mrs. Lucille James of Elk Point was killed Tuesday in a car-train accident near LeMars.
She was preceded in death by a son, John in 1965; her daughter, Lucille James; two brothers and a sister.
Mrs. Tullis was a member of the Methodist church in Merrill.
