Mrs. Gralapp, a life long resident of Plymouth county, died at her home, 408 First Avenue, SW on Friday after a long illness. She had been a sufferer from cancer for the past three years and her sufferings at time had been extreme.

Mrs. Gralapp was a daughter of Fred and Sophia Remer, pioneer settlers in Plymouth county. Her maiden name was Lydia Remer, and she was born on the Remer farm on February 2, 1876. She grew up and attended the public schools here. On March 22, 1898, she was united in marriage with Louis Gralapp. She leaves, besides her husband, four boys who will miss a tender mother’s care. The boys are Elmer, Clifford, Harvey and Milton. She also leaves to mourn her death, her aged mother and eight brothers and two sisters. The brothers are William F. Remer, Otto Remer, Fred Remer and Ben Remer, of Le Mars, E. A. Remer, Dubuque, Charles Reemer, Greenacre, Wash., Louis Remer, Goedell, Iowa, Harry Remer, Audubon. The sisters are Mrs. A. H. Wessenberg, Greeley, Colo., and Mrs. Peter Hansen, Popejoy, Iowa.

Mrs. Gralapp was a member of St. Paul Methodist church and the funeral was held there yesterday afternoon and was largely attended by relatives and friends. Rev. S. C. Steinbrenner conducted the services.
