Note: He was buried in Merrill-Stanton Cemetery. His wife's maiden name is Zimmerman.

Old Mr. Porsch died in western Elkhorn township Sunday evening of inflammation of the bowels and was buried Monday. We understand he was a resident of LeMars.

The funeral of Mr. Thomas Porsch of LeMars was well attended among the mourners were notices Rev. Yearger and wife of Des Moines, and John Porsch and wife of Fort Dodge.

The interment occurred at the Salem church cemetery where a number of relatives of the deceased were already at rest.
