DIED

Rose, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lambert, west of here in Union County, S.D. passed away Saturday morning, March 6, 1926, at one o’clock, at the age of 1 year, 11 months and 18 days.

Death came as a shock to the parents, who had nursed her through a four weeks’ wellness of whooping cough and pneumonia. It was thought she was well on the road to recovery Friday, when she suddenly became worse, and although every possible effort was made to save her life, she endured only a few hours of severe suffering. She was bright and loving child and will be sadly missed in the home and by all who knew her. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the community.

Besides the mother and father, she leaves to mourn her loss one sister, Amelia, and one brother Robert.

The funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Akron Methodist church, conducted by Rev. S. J. Wallace. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.
