Henry Dambrink

Henry Dambrink, 69. lifelong Le Mars resident, died unexpectedly Friday morning, June 28, at his home at I20 Fourth Ave. NW while working in his garden.

He was born April 6, 1899, in Le Mars and was a retired railroad clerk. His parents were the late Herman and Jessie Vanderberg Dambrink. His marriage to Lucille F. Kaufmann took place April 3, 1922, in Le Mars. Mr. Dambrink was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Workers, a veteran of world war 1 and American Legion member.

Funeral services were held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Mauer funeral home. Burial was in Le Mars Memorial cemetery. Rev. James Ransom officiated.

Survivors are his wife. Lucille, a brother, Dow Dambrink, Le Mars, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Peter and William, and a sister, Bertha Berkenpas.
