LE MARS, Iowa - Margaret Mathilda Pederson, 73, of Aiken, S.C., formerly of Le Mars, died Friday, May 23, 1997, at her daughter's residence in Aiken.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars, with the Rev. Larry Fett officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pederson was born Aug. 13, 1923, in Aurora, S.D., the daughter of William and Verna Allstot. She graduated from high school in the Brookings, S.D. area.
She married Charles Williams. He was killed in World War II. She married Wayne Buckley. The couple lived in the Brookings, S.D. area. She married Dale K. Pederson in December 1961. The couple lived in Le Mars. He died on Oct. 30, 1993. She was a homemaker. She moved to Aiken in October 1996.
Survivors include two sons, Richard and his wife Charlene Williams of Seney, Iowa and Robert Buckley of Houston, Texas; three daughters, Tina Feekes of Peterson, Iowa, Rita and her husband Robert Malloy of Aiken, and Jacquelyn and her husband Christopher Eden of Solon, Iowa; two sisters and their husbands, Dorothy and Art Trygstad of Huntington Beach, Calif. and Joyce and Wayne Buckley of McAlester, Okla.; and two brothers, Billy and his wife Margie Allstot of Elkton, S.D. and Norman Allstot of Tucson, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Tony Pederson.
