DEATH SUMMONS AKRON RESIDENT LAST SATURDAY

Last Rites Are Held On Tuesday For Anna Fredrickson

Mrs. Anna S. (Max) Fredrickson, resident for many years of this community, passed away Saturday at the Akron Hospital, after a long illness, aged 80 years and 5 months.

Mrs. Fredrickson, the former Anna Jurgensen, was born April 11, 1884, in Union County, S.D. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. August Jurgensen.

She was married to Max M. Fredrickson at Elk Point, S.D., and they farmed in the area until moving to Akron in 1930. He preceded her in death in August 1963.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Dimmick of Akron and Mrs. Leorn McCormick of Downey, Calif.; three sons, Carroll of Sioux City; LuVerne of Westfield, Iowa, and Raymond of Huntington Park, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Clark of Akron; two brothers, Charles and William Jurgensen of Akron; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

At the age of 13 she was confirmed in Trinity Lutheran Church, Akron. She and her husband became members of Immanuel Lutheran Church after moving to Akron. She was a devoted wife and mother and highly regarded by many friends for her fine qualities.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rev. David J. Roy officiating. Mrs. Stuart Harris was vocalist and Mrs. Henning Shoulberg was organist.

Casket bearers were Roy Nielsen, Porter Maynard, Wm. Mitchell, Vint. Adams, Floyd Fletcher and Everett Coyle. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.
