Ardeth D. Baldwin

FONDA, Iowa - Ardeth D. Baldwin, 73, of Fonda, Iowa, formerly of Le Mars, died Sunday, April 20, 1997, following a brief illness.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Adaville Pleasant Valley Cemetery at Merrill, Iowa. Farber and Otteman Funeral Home in Sac City, Iowa is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Baldwin was born Jan. 26, 1924, in Akron, Iowa, the son of Lloyd and Marie (Heeren) Baldwin. He attended high school in Akron. He married Geraldine Yoerger on Nov. 1, 1952.

He was employed at Pew's Farm Implement for many years. He moved to the Spencer, Iowa, area in the mid 1970s and went into business for himself in Milford, Iowa.

Survivors include two daughters, Rita Baldwin of Sioux City and Becki Ellsworth of Tifton, Ga.; two sons, Jeff of Merrill and Kirk stationed at Fort Knox, Ky.; three brothers, Lowell of Merrill, LuVerne of Harrison, Ark., and Marlin of Sioux City; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
