Note: She is buried in Merrill-Stanton Township Cemetery.

At her home in Stanton Township, Mrs. Sophia, wife of J. F. Dobbert. She had passed sixty-one years by one month and twelve days. The last sixteen years of her life ahve been spent here. She being among the first settlers and now well known throughout Plymouth County.

The funeral took place Sunday at 2:30 p.m. the same being largely attended. The ceremony took place at the house after which the pallbearers removed the remains to the cemetery adn committed them to their last resting place, peace to her ashes.
