Henry Friedrich, 78, route 3, Akron, died Tuesday (Dec. 5, 1972) at the Akron hospital.

Mr. Friedrich was a retired farmer and lifelong resident of section 33, Preston township, rural Akron.

He was born Nov. 8, 1894, in Preston township, rural Akron, the son of the late John G. and Anna (Riegert) Friedrich.

He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church. Preston township. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church, Preston township, rural Akron, with Rev. James Sandvik officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home, Le Mars.

Mr. Friedrich is survived by a brother. Herman Friedrich of route 3, Akron and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Frank, John and Karl.

Note: Believe mother's maiden name is "Reichert"
