MRS. EDITH HANSEN

Funeral services for Mrs. Edith M. Hansen, 76, who died Wednesday night at a Sioux City nursing home after several years' sickness were at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Wesley Methodist Church. Rev. Chester Guinn officiated.

Burial was in Riverside cemetery under the direction of the Lewison funeral home Mrs. Hansen was born March 16, 1884 in Union county, S. D.

She was married to Miller Hansen in 1907 at Le Mars, la. The couple lived in the Akron area, with the exception of nine years when they farmed near Jefferson, S. D. Mr. Hansen died in 1954.

Survivors include a son, Ford, of Akron; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Wakeman and Mrs. Ruth Hisel, both of Akron, and Mrs. Vivian Monteith of Newcastle, Neb.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
