Mrs. Elenor Wedmark

Mrs. Elenor Wedmark, 85, Akron, died Thursday, March 23, 1989 in the Akron City Convalescent Care Center after a brief illness.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Immanuel Lutheran church in Akron. Rev. William Flemr officiated. Jon Harris, soloist,sang "How Great Thou Art," accompanied by Carol Harris, organist. Congregational hymns sung were "What A Friend" and "Rock of Ages". Burial was in Riverside cemetery under direction of Schroeder funeral home in Akron.

Pallbearers were Charlie Boetger, Ray Ericson, Robert Frerichs, Dean Hebeler, Duane Forslund, and Lyle Jacobs.

Mrs. Wedmark, the former Elenor Anderson was born Aug. 30, 1903 near Akron in Union county, S.D., to Peter and Hilda (Carlson) Anderson. She was a lifelong area resident. She married Eric Wedmark. Sept. 24, 1920 at Elk Point, S.D. The couple lived in the Akron area their entire married life. Mr. Wedmark died June 9,1966. Since 1986 Mrs. Wedmark had lived hi the Akron Care Center. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church in Akron, and a lifetime member of Hoschler American Legion auxiliary.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn. Jane Sims of Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild; and a sister, Amy Potts of Rogers, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eric, a sister, Lillian, and two brothers, Milford and Clifford Anderson.
