Christopher James Siebens

Christopher James Siebens, 22, 620 Reed St., Akron, died Oct. 31, 1989 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 at Trinity Lutheran church in Akron. Rev. Allen Bidne. will officiate. Music will be "Lift High The Cross" and "Love Divine All Loves Excelling", with Pam Richards, organist. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery in Akron, under the direction of Schroeder funeral home of Akron. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8:30 p.m. with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.

Casketbearers are Jim Utesch, Randy Plueger, Clayton Jacobson, Mike Sturgeon, Paul Langel, Mike Martin, Sam Philips, and Chuck Utesch.

Christopher was born April 30, 1967, to Daryl and Claire McWilliams Siebens in Akron, Iowa. He graduated from the Akron-Westfield Community high school in 1985. He attended Texas Lutheran College for one year, He was presently employed at Jacobson's Auto Parts in Akron. He had previously worked at Farmers Co-op and Dirks Motor Co. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church in Akron.

He is survived by his parents, Daryl and Claire Siebens of Akron; one brother. Jay of Bakersfield, Calif., and one sister, Allison of Vermillion, S.D.; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Caryl Siebens of Akron, and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Marguerite McWilliams of Franklin, Mass.

He was preceded in death by both of his grandfathers, John Siebens
and Ambrose McWilliams.
