YOUNG FARMER IS TYPHOID VICTIM GEORGE MEINS, OF PORTLAND TOWNSHIP, IS STRICKEN IN EARLY MANHOOD
George Meins, aged 24, a well known young farmer of Portland township, died November 21 following; an illness of three weeks caused by typhoid fever.
George Johannes Ernst Meins was born near Akron May 15, 1908. He was united in marriage July 5, 1925,, with Miss Edna Jans. Since his marriage he was engaged in farming near Akron.
He leaves to mourn his death his wife and three little children, a. boy and two girls, his parents, Mr.. and Mrs. Fred Meins, four brothers,, Fred, Otto, Henry and Chas. Meins, and four sisters, Mary, Martha, Evelyn and Anna Meins.
The funeral services were held at the Trinity church in Akron, Rev. F. A. Meske officiating, and Interment: made in Riverside cemetery at Akron- Six cousins were pallbearers.
