Rites Friday for Orville Gramlow.
Orville Kay Gramlow, 55, of Remsen died Tuesday, July 21, 1992, at his home after a lingering illness.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church in Remsen with the Rev. Larry Fett officiating. Burial was in the Remsen City Cemetery. Moeller Funeral Home of Remsen was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Gramlow was born July 2, 1937, in Oakes, N. D., the son of Fred and Dagmar (Anderson) Gramlow. He married Marlys Seivert of Sanborn Sept. 15, 1959, in Sioux Falls, S. D. The couple lived in Pierre, S.D., prior to moving to Remsen in 1960. He served in the U.S. Army three years having served in the Panama Canal area. He worked in construction until he was disabled in an accident June 6, 1972.
Mr. Gramlow was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Kevin of Remsen; a daughter, Mrs. Christopher (Kimberli) Pierce of Oak Harbor, Wash.; four grandchildren; a brother, Charles of Bloomington, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Janice) Olsen of Jamestown, N. D., and Mrs. Ben (Margy) Zacher of Aberdeen, S.D.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Gerald. – Remsen Bell-Enterprise, July 30, 1992
