Obituary. Mrs. Walter Bjork.
Mrs. Walter Bjork, 79, Remsen, died Friday (Nov. 24, 1972) at Floyd Valley hospital.
Funeral services were Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran church, Remsen, with Rev. Paul Wuebben officiating.
Burial was in the Remsen City cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home, Remsen.
The former Clara Sanny, she was born April 18, 1893, at Remsen. She was married in October 1912 at Sioux City. The couple farmed near Remsen.
Mr. Bjork died in 1929 and then Mrs. Bjork moved into Remsen.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Hames of Remsen, Mrs. Sylvester Bornhorst of Le Mars and Mrs. Clarence Johnson of Aurelia; two brothers, Henry of Brunsville and Albert of Meriden, a sister, Mrs. Ted Amundson of Le Mars and 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, Nov. 27, 1972, page 3.
