Edward Peoples. Edward Peoples, about 75, a former resident of Remsen and Sioux died at his home in Stockton, California. He was born and reared at Correctionville and was married to Emma Linderman at Remsen. He was a meat inspector.
Survivors include the widow; a son, Lt. Col. Edward Peoples, and a daughter and several grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Remsen cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home. – Le Mars Globe Post, Sept. 21, 1961, page 11.
