Clarence P. Koerner, 82, of Hudson, died Friday (Sept 7, 1984) in his home.
Private funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the VanDeMore Funeral Home. Rev. Allen Bidne will officiate.
Burial will be in the Remsen City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. with Masonic services at 7;30 p.m. at the funeral home in Hudson.
Mr. Koerner was born June 24, 1902, at Remsen. He married Geneva Prenhaile Sept 24, 1932, at Sioux Falls. He was employed by the IPS service company for 45 years. He retired in 1967. His wife died Dec. 6, 1953.
Survivors are two daughters, Joye Koerner of Hudson and Charleen Hawe of Canton; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, Sept 10, 1984, page 5.
