MRS. JAKOB CUTTLER [KUTTLER] BURIED AT REMSEN.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jakob Kuttler, 68, who died Thursday after suffering a stroke Wednesday were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Christ’s Lutheran church in Remsen. Rev. Alfred Christiansen officiated. Burial was in the Remsen cemetery under direction of the Fisch funeral home.
Mrs. Kuttler was born in Germany March 20, 1895. She was married to Jakob Kuttler on January 22, 1922 at Bellzengen, Germany, and that same year they came to the United States and settled on a farm. They retired to Remsen in 1944.
Survivors include the widower; three daughters, Mrs. Arnold Mohning, Mrs. Merlin Mohning and Mrs. Donald Ott, all of Le Mars; a sister living in Germany and 15 grandchildren. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, March 16, 1964, page 5.
