Life’s End. MRS MARY KAPPLER, 77, FUNERAL RITES SET WEDNESDAY AT REMSEN.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Kappler, 77, of Remsen who died Sunday night at Sacred Heart hospital after a brief illness, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Lutheran church, Remsen.
Rev. Alfred Christiansen will officiate. Burial will be in the Remsen cemetery under the direction of the Moeller funeral home.
Mrs. Kappler was born Dec. 16, 1885, in Plymouth county. She was a lifelong resident of the Remsen community.
She was married to Jacob Kappler March 30, 1904. He died in 1956.
Survivors include two sons, Louis and George both of Remsen; three daughters, Anna and Marie Kappler, both of Remsen, and Mrs. Ray Schut of Minnesota; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, Nov. 5, 1963, page 3.
